The Man, The Myth, The Legend - that's a title that applies to many men, but The Man is one that has stuck. This super hero, born in 1933, epitomizes the male ego and strength. Who wouldn't want to be like this all time? Well, actually there are many who wouldn't want to be the strong and successful man that The Man is, and there are a lot of reasons why. So, we'll take a quick look at some of the characteristics that make The Man so special, and how he relates to every other male. The Man is The Man. He doesn't have the fear that most men have about living a mediocre life. Instead, The Man is a born fighter, and not afraid to take on any challenge in his path. There's no reason to get intimidated when you see so much success in front of you. The Man thrives on challenge. This doesn't mean that The Man has an endless supply of great adventures and experiences in his life. It does mean that he pushes himself to do the things in which he's the most comfortable with, and he's willing to put in the hard work in order to accomplish those things. The Man is not one to sit back and allow life to pass him by. Rather, The Man is always looking to improve himself and push himself forward. The Man is loving and kind. In fact, many times The Man is like a devoted family member. That caring nature allows The Man to lend a hand when someone needs it most. When The Man can't help out, he will be there. He will listen without judgment, offer encouragement when needed, and offer a shoulder to lean upon when things get tough. Being there for loved ones also makes The Man feel respected and loved. The Man has a very defined set of principles. Too often, men get so caught up in their day to day activities that they lose sight of what's really important. The Man knows that a good, solid set of principles is what will keep him going. He may be the go to guy when it comes to getting his job done, but he won't waste his time listening to a bunch of nonsense. He'll get right to business and work the way he sets out to. The Man is one who lives for the moment. He can't wait to take advantage of whatever opportunities come his way. He knows that life is short and any moment spent living is a moment lost. The Man knows that every moment spent doing nothing is a moment wasted.
